CEC launch
CEC launched its Telegram-based bounty platform, connecting social tasks with cryptocurrency rewards.
Community Engagement Centre
CEC helps creators run task-based engagement campaigns while community members can earn supported cryptocurrencies for completing approved actions.
Developed since 2021, the project has grown from a Telegram-based bounty bot into a broader platform with web-based campaign creation, automation, community tools, and blockchain wallet integrations.
Explore the public project history and find out more about the person behind the platform below. Follow the source links to learn how CEC became to be and has developed over time.
The person behind the platform
“CEC started as a practical way to connect social engagement with cryptocurrency rewards. What began as a university project grew into a platform I have continued building, operating, and expanding across new communities and blockchain networks.”
Allar designed and developed CEC's Java backend, blockchain wallet integrations, automated reward distribution and transaction validation, and has operated and continuously developed the platform for more than five years.
He is a software engineer and engineering manager with more than 10 years of experience building and delivering business-critical software, including high-volume transactional systems.
CEC's early architecture, implementation, testing and real-world deployment were documented in Allar Vendla's 2021 Information Technology bachelor's thesis at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), An Application for Increasing Social Media Presence Using Cryptocurrencies. The platform continued to evolve after the thesis.
The academic record documents the early work; it does not imply university endorsement of CEC.
